Fresh 48

(captured within the first 48 hours of life)

im sorry matt but..

you're fired.

Just had a baby. Haven’t slept. Running purely on adrenaline and hospital food. And now someone’s bringing a camera?

Perfect timing.

If you’re feeling a little unsure about hospital newborn photos — wondering if you look exhausted (you are, but in a powerful, “I just brought life into the world” way), unsure what to wear (spoiler: the hospital gown is completely fine), or worried the baby won’t “cooperate” — take a breath.

This is real life. That’s the whole point.

Jacqueline knows this stage isn’t polished — it’s raw, emotional, slightly chaotic, and incredibly beautiful. She works gently and quietly around you and your baby, capturing natural moments as they unfold. No complicated posing. No pressure to entertain the camera. No expectation that your newborn will suddenly understand lighting angles.

Most of the time, Jacqueline has already captured a gallery of meaningful images before you’ve even realised she’s started. Tiny fingers gripping yours. That brand-new baby stretch. The way you look at them when you think no one’s watching.

If the baby needs feeding, we pause. If you need a minute, we take it. If everything feels a little overwhelming — that’s completely normal too.

These sessions aren’t about perfection. They’re about preserving the very beginning — the crinkled sheets, the hospital bracelets, the emotion, the reality. The kind of moments that feel like a blur now but will mean everything later.

You focus on your baby. Jacqueline will quietly capture the magic happening in between.

THis is Jac.
